Quantum Capital Partners ("QCP") today announced that Gianetti Ruote Holding GmbH, a company of Quantum Opportunity Fund II GmbH & Co. KG, has acquired 100% of the shares of GKN Wheels Carpenedolo S.p.A. from the GKN Wheels Group. The company has been renamed FAD Wheels S.r.l. ("FAD Wheels"). With this strategic move, the Quantum Group strengthens its position as a major steel wheel manufacturer for both commercial and agricultural, construction, and industrial vehicles as well as forklifts in the European market. In 2018, the Quantum Group laid the foundation for building a presence in this market with the acquisition of the Italian steel wheel manufacturer Gianetti Ruote S.r.l. ("Gianetti") from Accuride Corporation. The new Gianetti Group will have a total capacity of over 2,000,000,000 wheels per year in two Italian plants in Carpenedolo (Brescia) and Ceriano Laghetto (Monza and Brianza).

FAD Wheels, located near Brescia (Italy), is a leading manufacturer of high-quality steel wheels (8" to 34" diameter) for agricultural and construction vehicles, forklifts, and caravans. The company, which supplies leading European commercial vehicle OEMs and dealers, has a history of over 65 years. The strategic acquisition of FAD Wheels strengthens the group's market position and expands its production capacity, as well as its technical and operational expertise in the production of steel wheels for agricultural vehicles and forklifts. In the future, FAD Wheels will develop, produce, and sell all products directly to customers. Mr. Goran Mihajlovic is appointed as the new CEO and Chairman of FAD Wheels.
