Quantum Capital Partners receives the contract for the Barcelona plant from the Stora Enso Group. Both parties agree to complete the transaction in the fourth quarter of 2015.
With the acquisition of the plant, the Munich-based investment company adds a new industry to its portfolio. The Catalan cardboard plant employs 220 people and annually produces up to 195,000 tons of cardboard from recycled paper. In 2014, it generated sales of EUR 117 million.
